Meet Leeah

Welcome to my world! The world of a dreamer.

I’m Leeah Thelen, an abstract-realist artist living in beautiful Orange County, California. Painting allows me a way to convey my inner most thoughts and emotions with the world. Through my work, I explore different themes and ideas based around the human experience, focusing on complexities around freedom, love, being alive, death and re-birth. In my day-to-day life, I do my best each day to walk in truth & authenticity for myself, in hopes that it helps me dive a bit further into these ideas. 

I am a person that enjoys solitude, independence, reflection and comfort. I am a deep thinker and have been told all my life that I am intense person; digging deep into existence allows me to paint the world that I feel and see around me. 

My goal within my art career is to convey the deepest depths of the human soul, and show the light that shines within us. I believe the deeper we dive, the more truth we discover about ourselves. The more we know about who we are, the more we are able to inspire others to be their most authentic selves. From my experience, it is after we reach the darkest depths that we emerge to experience our brightest light.

I hope that my art inspires you to dig deep within your own soul to discover who it is you truly want to be in this lifetime. 

For me, I hope in this life I accomplish being open-minded, loving, kind, generous, authentic, loyal, strong and vulnerable. I wish that my art walks me through the phases in life that help me reach me truest potential.

Each collection will reveal a new part of my own personal human experience and how I have been able to process it and move forward.
